Episode 4 – Rob O’Connor/Stylorouge

Rob O’Connor’s Stylorouge creative studio can arguably boast the largest pop portfolio of clients I’ve ever tackled for my regular Pop Art feature in Classic Pop magazine. From Meatloaf to Morrissey and Bowie to Barlow, I met with Rob at Stylorouge in the beautiful Kent countryside to talk 35 years of pop design, music and mischief.

In the interview I start at the very beginning, exploring Stylorouge’s vast portfolio of pop clients that will be familiar to almost everyone. It was a joy to spend an afternoon with Rob and his team looking back over a flawless portfolio of work, gaining the inside story on many famous record sleeves.

The audio was originally recorded for the Pop Art feature that appeared in issue 32 of Classic Pop magazine which is available to purchase as a download at THIS LINK.
